Clare Mc Ilwaine

Private Client services manager

Clare is the Private Client Services Manager at MAC Financial, overseeing the Thornton book of clients.

She joined MAC Financial in 2025, following the acquisition of the Thornton Chartered Financial Planners’ book of business.

With over 25 years of experience in the banking and financial sector, Clare brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She also holds the Certificate in Leadership and Management.

As Private Client Services Manager, Clare plays a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring clients consistently receive the highest level of service. She works closely with Ed Walter, Head of Private Client Advisory.
