MAC Group has joined Manx Wildlife Trust as a Corporate Partner, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and supporting the protection and enhancement of the Isle of Man’s natural environment.

Founded in 1973, Manx Wildlife Trust is the Island’s leading conservation charity and plays a vital role in protecting local wildlife, habitats and ecosystems, while helping to engage businesses and communities in creating a more sustainable future.

Through the partnership, MAC Group will have opportunities to engage colleagues in a range of environmental initiatives, including volunteer activities, educational events and conservation projects that contribute directly to the Isle of Man’s natural heritage.

Ed Walter, Managing Director of MAC Group, said:

As a business that is deeply rooted in the Isle of Man, we recognise the importance of protecting and preserving the environment that makes our Island such a special place to live and work. Joining Manx Wildlife Trust as a Corporate Partner is an exciting step for MAC Group and reflects our ongoing commitment to responsible business practices and safeguarding our Island for current and future generations.

We’re particularly looking forward to providing opportunities for our colleagues to get involved with Manx Wildlife Trust’s work, gain a deeper understanding of local conservation efforts and contribute to projects that help protect the Island’s unique natural environment.

Graham Makepeace-Warne, Chief Executive Officer of Manx Wildlife Trust, added:

We are delighted to welcome MAC Group as a Corporate Partner. Businesses play an important role in supporting nature recovery and environmental stewardship, and partnerships like this enable us to continue our work protecting the Isle of Man’s wildlife and wild places while bringing together like-minded organisations committed to making a positive difference for nature.

We look forward to working closely with MAC Group and its employees, helping them connect with nature while making a meaningful contribution to conservation across the Island. We also hope they will experience firsthand the benefits that spending time in nature can bring to wellbeing and everyday life.

The partnership forms part of MAC Group’s wider commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, environmental responsibility and community engagement. In less than three years, MAC Group has raised more than £31,500 for charitable causes, supported numerous local community events and sponsored Island sports clubs and theatre productions.

Supporting organisations that help protect and enhance the Island’s natural environment is an important part of MAC Group’s commitment to the communities in which it operates, helping to ensure the Isle of Man continues to thrive for generations to come.
