George Richardson Approved as an Independent Financial Adviser
We are delighted to announce that George Richardson APFS has received no objection from the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority to act as an Independent Financial Adviser, enabling him to provide financial advice to both private and corporate clients.
George joined MAC Financial in 2023 as a Paraplanner before progressing to lead the firm’s Paraplanning team. Following a move into the advisory team as a Trainee Independent Financial Adviser in July 2026, George completed MAC Financial’s adviser competency process and has received no objection from the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority to provide advice to clients
Throughout his time at MAC Financial, George has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to professional development. He achieved the Level 4 CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in 2023 before completing the Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning in 2025, attaining Chartered Financial Planner status. His achievements were recognised by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Isle of Man branch, which named him Young Achiever of the Year in 2024, and in 2026 he received the Financial Planners and Insurance Brokers Association (FPIBA) Education Award for Academic Excellence.
Drawing on his technical background gained from his time in paraplanning, George is well placed to deliver tailored financial planning advice that aligns with clients’ objectives. His expertise spans financial planning, investment analysis, pension analysis and report writing, providing a strong foundation for helping clients make informed decisions about their financial future.
