MAC Group to host charity golf day for Samaritans and Sight Matters

MAC Group is excited to announce its upcoming charity golf day, set to take place on Friday, September 13th, at the prestigious Ramsey Golf Club. The special event aims to raise a significant amount of money for MAC Group’s charities of the year: Samaritans and Sight Matters.

Companies, golfers and supporters of the charities are invited to enter a team and enjoy a day of competitive golfing at one of the Island’s most beautiful courses.

Registration 10am for a shotgun start at 10.30am

£400 for a team of four

‘We are delighted to host our MAC Group charity golf day at Ramsey Golf Club, raising much-needed funds to support the work of Samaritans and Sight Matters in the Isle of Man as part of MAC’s 20th-anniversary celebrations. Both organizations provide essential services and play an important role in our community, and we are looking forward to raising lots of money for both charities.’

The day will feature an 18-hole tournament, various on-course challenges, pre-round breakfast baps, refreshments and a post-game lunch where winners will be announced and prizes awarded. Participants can also look forward to a raffle with all proceeds going directly to the charities.

About Samaritans: Samaritans is a charity dedicated to providing emotional support to anyone in distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide. Their 24/7 helpline and outreach services play a critical role in offering comfort and guidance to individuals in need.

About Sight Matters: Sight Matters is a leading charity that supports over 600 residents living with serious sight loss. Their services include providing information, advice, and practical support to help visually impaired individuals lead independent and fulfilling lives.
